FIREFOX DROPMYRIGHTS SETUP

When using the shortcut to FIREFOX DROPMYRIGHTS, which is created by the installer, you will be using Firefox with reduced rights. This makes it more difficult for malware to be installed on your computer, though not impossible. Firefox is not altered in any way, you are simply using it with reduced rights when you use the FIREFOX DROPMYRIGHTS shortcut.

DropMyRights was written by Michael Howard and details can be found at

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms972827.aspx

You can use Process Explorer at

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Process-Explorer.shtml

to confirm that you are running Firefox with reduced rights. (Right click firefox.exe>Properties>Security. It will show BUILTIN\Administrators Deny,Owner.)
